365news gathered that Professor Ayobami Salami has been appointed as a new Resident Electoral Commissioner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ekiti State.
Prior to his appointment, Prof. Salami, a learned scholar, served as the first vice chancellor of Nigeria’s top technical institution, First Technical University in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Administrative Secretary of INEC Ekiti State, Mrs. Feyi Saseyi, led him around the office after he was given responsibility by his predecessor, Dr. Adeniran Tella.
