365NEWS gathered that the management and students of Army Day Secondary School, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, Edo State, have expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo for the remarkable transformation of their school.
Governor Okpebholo, who has consistently shown concern for the welfare of children, and had previously announced plans to declare a state of emergency in the education sector during his campaign. The swift and impressive renovation of the school has left both students and staff in awe.
When students returned from their second-term break on April 28th 2025, they were met with a pleasant surprise, their school had undergone a complete metamorphosis from a dilapidated structure to a modern learning facility.
Alexander Divine, a student, couldn’t contain her excitement, describing the transformation as “overwhelming.” The students were overjoyed, and their prayers were filled with goodwill towards the governor.
The transformation is part of Governor Okpebholo’s efforts to revamp the education sector in Edo State.
