365NEWS gathered that Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pledged to turn over a new leaf following his release on bail.
A Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, granted the Zazu crooner a ₦2 million bail on Thursday after he pleaded not guilty to a five-count charge, including conspiracy, assault, unlawful possession of weapons, and unruly conduct.
Portable was arraigned by the Ogun State police for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
Following his release, the singer took to social media to assure fans that he was leaving trouble behind and focusing on making money.
Speaking in Yoruba translated to English he said, “My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have N2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money.
