The Christian community was shocked when Damina publicly criticized well-known Nigerian pastors like Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo, and David Ibiyeomie. In viral videos that stirred up the religious scene, Damina challenged these respected leaders, questioning their strict views on tithing, which he labeled as unbiblical and misleading.
Damina’s criticism extended further, as he also took aim at William Kumuyi, the General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church. In a popular sermon clip, Damina openly confronted what he saw as clear inconsistencies within Kumuyi’s church.
