365news gathered that the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has stated what he would do if the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, “sacked” him.
Wike admitted that even if the PDP leadership expelled him from the organization, he would still “pepper” them.
After losing to Atiku Abubakar in the presidential primary, the governor has grown resentful of the PDP leadership.
Wike demanded the ouster of PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu after his defeat.
Wike and the G-5 governors argued that the North shouldn’t be permitted to produce the national chairman and presidential candidate of the PDP.
He stressed that Ayu should give way for a Southerner.
However, speaking in Port Harcourt yesterday, Wike said: “They said they will sack me, and I have been waiting for the day they will sack me.
“When you sack me, I pepper you; you will know that khaki is not the same as leather. Deputy National Chairman, tell your people we are here.”
Amid the crisis, Wike also accused Ayu of corrupt practices worth billions of naira.
Wike had dared Ayu to institute legal actions against him if his claims were false.
