The Nigeria Police Force on Friday has displayed a show of force at oshogbo, the state headquarters of Osun State, ahead of the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2022.
365News gathered that the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali, revealed that about 21,000 operatives would be deployed for the election.
It had earlier reported that the police and other security agencies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, declared war on vote-buyers and mapped out strategies to checkmate their activities.
